Terrorism Trial Starts In Toronto

March 26th, 2008No Comments

Here’s one for you, a youth who is alleged to be part of an alleged Toronto bomb plot went to trial today, and the Crown announced that it had “shocking and sensational” evidence to present during the trial. I wonder how Omar Khadr supporters feel about that. What do they have to say about it?

It will be interesting to see as this trial unfolds how many supporters the suspect, who was charged under the Youth Justice Act, ends up with by the end of his trial.

The youth by the way, is charged with participating in and contributing to the activity of a terrorist group.

Short of killing somebody, the youth could easily be compared to Khadr.

Like I said, I wonder what Khadrs supporters are thinking, and if they plan on jumping on this kid’s bandwagon to the extent they have with Killer Khadr.

I hope the trial that started today ends with the alleged terrorist spending a few years in lock-up, unlike Khadr, who I hope serves at least another 10 years for the crimes he is accused of committing on behalf of terrorists.
