I wrote this artice yesterday and thought I better publish it before I publish tomorrow what I wrote today about the case today. I don’t know how relevant it is to the bullshit that is being said about the case now, but just the same, here it is.
I’m having a real tough time believing that the justice of the peace who dealt with mass murderer Allan Dwayne Schoenborn didn’t have all the facts when Justice of the Peace Fraser Hodge released Schoenborn on bail before he murdered his 3 children. Of course he hasn’t come right and said it publicly, but he had a mouthpiece do it for him, that mouthpiece being Chief Judge Hugh Stansfield.
I only have one reason for not believing that argument Stansfield presented and that reason is that the RCMP would have made it perfectly clear to the JP the reasons why Schoenborn should be remanded into custody. In order for the RCMP to be successful in their bid to keep the sick f**k in jail, they would have had to provide the JP with not only documentation, but a verbal argument to make their case. There is no way the JP didn’t know the risks he was taking when the decision was made to act against the RCMP’s better judgement and exercise his own bad judgement.
The JP is full of shit and Chief Judge Hugh Stansfield is a dickhead for backing the JP.
Furthermore, why was Schoenborn’s bail hearing conducted over the phone, who the f**k came up with that idea? It sounds to me like there might be a few lazy son of a bitches working in the justice system in British Columbia. The last I heard, Monday was a working day in Canada, as is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,Friday, and in some cases Saturday and Sunday. I also disagree with the fact that a justice of the peace was handling the case in the first place. Somebody dropped the ball here and it wasn’t the police. For somebody to suggest otherwise is absurd and that somebody is only passing the buck.
The JP is the only person responsible for releasing the killer back into the community, and if he expects me to believe that the RCMP didn’t present a good case over the telephone when they were advocating that Schoenborn be refused bail, the JP better pull his head out of his ass.
As for Chief Judge Hugh Stansfield, well of course he is going to back his judiciary colleague, why wouldn’t he? He doesn’t care one way or the other if the JP is feeding him a line of bullshit when it comes to the story the JP is going to spin for him. The last thing BC’s top provincial judge is going to do is implicate one of his colleagues in what I would say is a reprehensible act of insubordination, one that claimed the lives of three children.
As far as I’m concerned the JP and the JP alone is the reason why Schoenborn was released back into the community. I think the when the RCMP presented their argument to the JP, he sloughed it off, or couldn’t have cared less about what the RCMP had to say. You can be sure that not only was there enough documented evidence to support their case, but that they would have been very vocal with their objection to bail, and probably very argumentative. Like I said, the JP is full of shit if he is going to continue claiming that they didn’t have all the facts.
Nobody will ever convince me that the JP who released Schoenborn back into the Merrit community didn’t have enough compelling evidence to keep the killer in jail.
