Why are people so intent in making Omar Khadr out to be a victim when he made victims out of people when he participated in a closed battle with coalition troops and lobbed a grenade at them, taking the life of one US soldier? What the f**k is wrong with people, and have they forgotten that the little c**ksucker picked up arms to take on coalition forces, which just happen to include Canadian soldiers. Supporters of Khadr, including Judge Richard Mosley, can spin the story about Khadr’s capture and detention at Guantanamo Bay anyway they like, but the fact of the matter is, the despicable, lying little prick who claims that he didn’t have a choice when he carried out not only the attack that cost one U.S. army sergeant his life, but likely many others we don’t know about, more than likely had many opportunities to lay down his arms and turn his back on jihad and the teachings of his father, but he chose not to.
His international human rights were violated, get f**king real Judge Mosley; he was captured as a insurgent aka enemy combatant that not only provided material support for the al-Qaeda, but did their killing for them.
What’s also is ridiculous about Mosley’s ruling is that he acknowledges that the mistreatment of Khadr at Guantanamo Bay is only a possibility. His “informed decision” is also partly based on an allegation that has no supporting evidence and he is willing to assume that his international human rights were violated. By that I mean he is assuming that a paragraph supposedly contains information from a member of the U.S. military regarding steps taken by Guantanamo authorities to prepare Khadr for and interview with a foreign affairs official in March 2004, steps that violated Khadr’s rights. The paragraph he referred to was blacked out by the way so how does he know whether the information that was blacked out contained the steps that allegedly violated Khadr’s when he was being prepared for an interview with a Canadian official.
Other than the word from what very well could be a disgruntled, kind of peacenik U.S. soldier who probably didn’t want anything to do with the war in Iraq and Afghanistan in the first place, and who could be a fan of anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan, what proof does he have that the blacked paragraph contained information that is proof that these so-called steps violated Khadr’s international human rights.
Unless he can see through that whatever it was that was used to black out that particular paragraph, the judge is no position to make the assumption that Khadr’s rights were violated, and his decision isn’t the worth the paper it is written on. Besides, does he really think his decision is going to have any bearing on the outcome of Khadr’s case, because if he does he has an exaggerated opinion of himself?
Seriously, Judge Mosley can’t be so stupid and out of touch with the reality of what Khadr is accused that he actually thinks that his ruling is going to help Khadr defence does he?
If he does, than he’s as stupid as the Liberal who appointed him to the federal court in 2004.
Judge Mosley, despite his credentials, is an embarrassment to the robe he wears in the name of Canadian justice. Imagine what it would be like if all Canadian judges took hearsay as credible evidence like he obviously has done in order to arrive at this asinine ruling.
He’s a disgrace to national security, and a disgrace to the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada for siding with a known enemy of the Western World. That being said, does anybody think he would be adverse to socializing with the Khadr family, who openly admit they are supportive of Osama bin Laden and the jihad? I think he would jump at the opportunity, don’t you? In fact given the opportunity, I think the judge would break bread with Osama bin Laden, for the sake of protecting international human rights of course.
One other thing to think about, since the Supreme Court ruled in May that Khadr has a constitutional right to see certain videos and documents that are in foreign affairs, the RCMP and CSIS’s possession, shouldn’t we as Canadians have the right to see those same videos and documents also, as well as any evidence that has been collected from the Khadr family, after all it is our security and lives that are potentially at risk, and since Canadian taxpayer dollars are used to pay the RCMP, CSIS and foreign affairs officials, we should have a say when it comes to determining how dangerous the Khadr family is, and in order to do that we need to see the evidence.
CSIS, the RCMP and the foreign affairs ministry shouldn’t have the final word in making that determination right, I mean think about it, they aren’t exactly swift when it comes to determining what is fact and what is fiction when it comes to interpreting the evidence they gather against suspected terrorists, those people in Canada who openly admit they support jihad against the west (like the Khadr family for example) and other terrorist organisations hiding in Canada right?
